VX58B is the ALSC module of the Compact Line amplifiers VX5XB and enables Auto Alignment and Automatic Level and Slope Control. The desired output level of the amplifier has to be selected in the WISI App “HFC Manager” or the hand programmer OH41 and the alignment module VX58B will set the VX5xB, thanks to Auto Alignment, automatically to the defined values. This process considers all parameters like cable simulator, attenuator and Slope. After the initial amplifier setting by Auto Alignment, controls ALSC permanently the output level and will realign the settings in case of deviation, to keep the specified output level and slope. The automatic readjustment is based on two freely selectable channels, which can be chosen by the HFC Manager or handset OH41.
